We are here regularly and we have to say that it is the best place to eat for us. Starting with the sausage: Very tasty in taste and perfectly grilled. The fries are flavorful and crispy. The curry sauces very tasty and no ketchup sauce. TOP!!! The ambience is very nice and fits the motto STEIGERWURST. The boss very friendly. Price / offer: Very good For us personally there is the best currywurst in Recklinghausen. Keep it up

I went to STEIGER WURST for the first time today. The competition 100 meters further on has totally frightened me off and disappointed me the last few times with limp sausage. With great enthusiasm, after looking at the menu at STEIGER WURST, I discovered that currywurst made from buffalo is offered. I found it very interesting, didn't know it yet, and wanted to try it. So I ordered the buffalo currywurst, I got a currywurst with black sauce, totally great, also for the eye. A black bun was served with it, where at first I thought it was a piece of coal that should serve as a decoration. Really awesome :-) The taste of the sausage convinced me 100%, the sauce was very slightly spicy, a delight for my palate. Everyone who wants to eat good currywurst should try it at STEIGER WURST, especially the buffalo sausage is really good.

We were there yesterday, we haven't eaten such a good currywurst in a long time. I even tasted better than at my favorite currywurst stall. We would love to come back. It's a shame that you can't give 10 stars.

We usually eat currywurst twice a year and then always know why we rarely do it. But you can't get enough of this currywurst; the sauces and the masterly made sausage are a pleasure! There is also a very friendly service and a great atmosphere. This snack can only be recommended! Good luck for! ;)

You can tell that the sauce is homemade. DELICIOUS. For the price (3,90 Euro) I think the quality is very good. I would even pay a few cents for it.

Really great little snack. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The owner is on the grill and is super friendly. The menu is small, but what is offered can be quite impressive. Some seating also invite you to linger, which is quite pleasant in the ambience. My husband and I were not there the last time.
